Chief Executive Officer
As CEO of PetriEye, Goran Plavšić leads the company’s strategic direction, innovation roadmap, and global expansion efforts. Aleksandar Plavšić
Chief Operations Officer
Aleksandar Plavšić is the Chief Operations Officer at PetriEye, where he oversees operational execution, field support, and cross-team coordination for the AI-powered veterinary diagnostic platform. His role ensures that PetriEye technologies are effectively tested, validated, and deployed in real-world veterinary settings, tying together development and field application.
He also serves as CEO at Vets4science d.o.o., contributing to the technical development, testing, and implementation of veterinary diagnostic and reproductive technologies.

Miha Avberšek
Lead Microbiologist - Veterinary Diagnostics & R&D
Miha Avberšek is the Lead Microbiologist for Veterinary Diagnostics & R&D at PetriEye. In this role, he leads the development, validation, and scientific accuracy of the system’s microbiological components. His expertise ensures that all diagnostic procedures meet rigorous standards of reliability, relevance, and regulatory compliance within veterinary practice.
He also serves as Lead Microbiologist at Vets4science d.o.o., where he contributes to broader research and development efforts in microbiology and diagnostic innovation.

Ante Križanović
Board Member
Ante Križanović is the co-founder of the PetriEye system, and serves as its strategic advisor. From the project’s inception, he has played a pivotal role in shaping PetriEye through critical ideation and long-term vision, ensuring its alignment with real-world veterinary needs. He is also the CEO and co-founder of Aether-signum d.o.o., where he leads innovation in AI and systems engineering. With a degree in computer engineering and over a decade of experience in database management, embedded systems, and AI technologies, Ante has successfully led geographically distributed teams and driven digital transformation across multiple industries.

AI Solutions Architect and Board Member
Damir Tomić serves as AI Solutions Architect and Board Member at PetriEye, where he leads software architecture and machine learning implementation, ensuring seamless interaction between AI models and hardware components. With a master’s degree in software engineering and over a decade of experience in machine learning, computer vision, embedded systems, and autonomous technologies, he plays a pivotal role in shaping PetriEye’s technical direction and long-term innovation strategy. In addition, Damir is the Lead Machine Learning Engineer at Aether-signum d.o.o., where he contributes significantly to the design and integration of AI-powered systems.

With over 15 years of experience, Nikola brings deep expertise in building scalable, secure, and high-performance systems that support both enterprise and field-ready applications.
